Many of the races on the ballot in the South in 2020 could be decided by Black women. This voting bloc has been a force in the political world for decades, but only recently started receiving recognition for those efforts.

During the 55th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday earlier this year, five prominent leaders in the Black community discussed the future of Black women in politics and how they are setting the tone for the entire community.
